Our Third Visit to Walt Disney World
November 9-16, 2012
After our last trip, Michelle and I discussed the possibility of doing an "adults only" trip to Disney. We also wanted to maybe go in the Fall, either to see the Halloween decorations or maybe later for the Christmas season. Then Michelle said, "Take me for my 40th Birthday!" So that is what we did. We travelled down on her actual birthday, and stayed 7 nights. Since this was a special trip, we chose to stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort again. Since we wanted to see Alex off to school on that Friday, we had an afternoon flight. So we didn't arrive until 8:00pm which was very different for us. We had dinner at Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian and then got settled in.

Day 1 - Saturday November 10, 2012
Our plan for our first full day was to spend most of it at the Magic Kingdom. We got a late start, then I wasn't feeling well so we left shortly after we got to the park so I could rest. We returned after dinner and stayed in the park until after 2:00am.

This day started with breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. We then went to Animal Kingdom till mid-afternoon. For dinner we took the monorail to Epcot for dinner with the Princesses at Akershus in the Norway pavilion. Day 5 - Wednesday November 14, 2012
Day 5 started off with another early breakfast, this time in the Magic Kingdom at Crystal Palace. Afterwards the plan was to ride a few rides and then head to Epcot for the rest of the day and night. But we lucked into a dinner reservation at the brand new Be Our Guest restaurant and couldn't pass up the opportunity. So we cut our Epcot day short and spent the night back at the Magic Kingdom.

Day 6 - Thursday November 15, 2012
Our last full day started off early as we wanted to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios before they opened the gates. This is necessary in order to ride Toy Story Midway Mania without a very long wait. We had room service breakfast delivered at 7:00am then headed out. For our last night we were doing Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for the second time.
