Our room was in this building, 5th floor, on the left side.  The main building is on the right.

The main building, with the pool and restaurant in front.  The booth is where we rented the wave runners for the dolphin tour on Monday morning.

On the back bay. Michelle on the wave runner. We each had a waterproof camera. To this point, it was all slow and calm.
Honeymoon_wr3t.jpg
We're stopped here, because there were dolphins swimming around.
Honeymoon_wr4t.jpg
Michelle got the better pictures of the dolphins, they were closer to her.
Honeymoon_wr5t.jpg
Most of what I saw was the fins. I was stopped about 50 feet further away.
Honeymoon_wr2t.jpg
7 miles back to the hotel on the Gulf side. It was very rough. Here we had stopped briefly to catch our breath.

Tuesday morning on the ferry boat leaving the back bay to go to Key West. That's our hotel with the green roofs.
Honeymoon_P6050042t.JPG
We didn't take many pictures in Key West, we were short on time and too busy shopping!

Wednesday we went to Sanibel and Captiva Islands. Here we are crossing the bridge. They're building a higher non-drawbridge right alongside.

Look closely, there's a gecko right in the middle of the picture. This was on the walk to the beach on Captiva. Our first sighting of wildlife. Shortly followed by our second - a black racer snake!
Honeymoon_P6060083t.JPG
Artsy shot taken by Michelle. We did this on the sand of Ft. Myers first, but this is taken at the beach on Captiva. There were shells everywhere.

I took this while driving in Sanibel. Hey, at least I wasn't talking on the cell phone!
Honeymoon_P6060090t.JPG
I spotted this sign at a retention pond behind a strip mall we were at. Mind you, I was very careful approaching - and ready to run like hell! Michelle stayed quite back, which is why it's blurry. Her comment later, "Do not feed yourself to alligators!"

Our last night, I took these with Michelle's camera after we posed for the below pictures. This was the only night we got to see the sun set into the horizon.
Honeymoon_P6060121t.JPG
It was cloudy all day, but started to clear right before sunset. I couldn't get definition on the sun and clouds, but like the way the surf came out.

Yes, her feet were getting wet.

This was taken at the county park at the end of Estero Island. I'm not sure if this is Thelma or Louise, but she did let me get back in before we drove into town.

Wednesday night we had our pictures taken on the beach in front of the hotel.

This is the one that has everyone reacting "Awwwwww!"
